What Makes Red River Arenas Walk-Thru Gates Different?
A walk-thru gate gets used every time you enter or leave your pen. It needs to be convenient from the ground and from the saddle.
With the Red River Arenas latch shown here, you can open the gate from horseback, ride through, and slam it shut behind you. The gate swings both directions, and the long handle is accessible from either side.

Open It From Horseback
The long cowboy-style latch handle is positioned for convenient access from horseback. You can work it with one hand while keeping your other hand available for your reins.
Whether you are going into a round pen to work a horse or riding out of an arena, you can stay in the saddle as you go through the gate.
A Gate That Swings Both Directions
Push it open or pull it toward you. The gate swings both ways, giving you flexibility as you enter or leave with your horse. The handle can be reached from either side of the gate.
Slam It Shut Behind You
The latch is designed to catch when the gate is slammed shut. Once you have ridden through, push or pull the gate closed and let the latch engage.
That makes it convenient for everyday trips in and out of a round pen, riding arena, or livestock pen.
The Gate and Frame Work Together
The opening gate sits inside its own surrounding frame, creating a complete gate assembly that connects with the panel system. When comparing packages, look at the complete gate, including the frame, latch, tubing, and panel match.
Choose the Right Gate for Your Setup
Match the gate to the height and construction of the panels in your round pen or arena. Compare the arch height and the actual clear opening when choosing your gate.
Red River Arenas gate model widths are measured from outside of frame to outside of frame. The clear opening is smaller than the listed gate size.
