From Start to Finish: Ordering Your Red River Arena

•

Ordering an arena is a big decision. You want the right size, the right panels, and a layout that works for the way you ride and handle livestock. You also want to know what happens between choosing your arena and having it ready to use.

Whether you order online or work with one of our salesmen, here is how to prepare for your Red River Arenas purchase from start to finish.

1. Choose the Arena That Fits Your Plans

Start with how you intend to use your arena. Riding, team roping, calf roping, and rough stock each call for different layouts and equipment. Think about the livestock you will be working, how often you will use the arena, and the space available on your property.

Measure your site before choosing a size. For a roping arena, check whether the listed dimensions include the roping boxes, return alley, and holding pens. The working area and the total space needed are important parts of the decision.

Browse our riding arena layouts and roping arena layouts. Our horse panel buying guide can help you compare panel options.

2. Ordering Online or Working With Our Team

You can order directly online or contact us for help choosing your arena. Before ordering online, carefully review the product description, dimensions, panel specifications, and included components. Make sure the package is suitable for your livestock and intended use.

If you have questions or simply prefer to talk with a salesman, give us a call at 1-800-343-1026—we’re happy to help you choose the right arena.

3. Review Your Order Details or Quote

Before placing your order, take a few minutes to check the details. This is the time to make sure the package matches what you have in mind.

  • Confirm the arena size, layout, and panel series.
  • Review the gates, chutes, lead-ups, and other equipment listed in the package.
  • Check any upgrades or additional items you have selected.
  • Verify the delivery address and the best phone number to reach you.
  • Review the total, payment terms, and delivery information that apply to your purchase.

If you need a change or have a question about what is included, call us before completing your order.

4. Place Your Order and Keep Your Information Handy

Complete your online checkout or follow the ordering and payment instructions provided by your salesman. Review the applicable terms before completing your purchase, and keep your order confirmation or sales paperwork where you can find it.

Your order number makes it easier for our team to help when you call with a question. Keep your layout and item list, too—they will be useful when your arena arrives and you begin setting it up.

5. Plan Ahead for Delivery

Discuss current timing with our team so you can plan for your particular order. Let us know at the time you order about any blackout dates when you cannot receive or unload the shipment.

Delivery can occur at any time, so make arrangements for someone to be available with the unloading equipment. Once an order has been booked on a carrier, shipping cannot be rearranged. Share any access concerns early.

6. Prepare Your Property

Think through the route a delivery truck will take to your unloading area. Check entrances, turns, overhead clearance, and room to maneuver. If you have narrow gates, a difficult driveway, or other access concerns, discuss them with us before delivery is arranged.

Choose a clear unloading area with room for your equipment and the shipment. Separately, plan the arena site and any ground preparation needed for your intended use. Having those details worked out ahead of time makes the next steps easier.

7. Have the Right Equipment Ready to Unload

The customer is responsible for unloading the shipment. For roping and rough stock arenas and equipment, you need equipment with pallet forks capable of lifting at least 2,000 pounds. Confirm the requirements for your order with our team.

Do not cut the green bands holding a bundle together until it is safely on the ground.

Watch our unloading video before delivery day, and read the delivery and unloading instructions for the full requirements.

8. Check Your Shipment When It Arrives

Have your order paperwork available. If you see damage while the shipment is still on the truck, photograph it before unloading. After unloading, inspect the bundles and parts and compare them with your invoice.

Notify Red River Arenas at the time of delivery about damage, shortages, or order discrepancies. Call 1-800-343-1026 so our team can help.

9. Use Your Layout and Setup Instructions

Start with the instructions for the arena you purchased. Match the layout, arena size, and panel length to your order before placing components.

Our instructional documents and videos page includes arena layouts and demonstrations for setup and equipment connections. Use the video below as an introduction, then follow the instructions for your specific package.

10. Call Us When You Need Help

Questions do not have to end when you place your order. If you need help finding the right instructions, identifying a component, or understanding the next step, have your order number ready and give us a call.
