This is the only feeder that you will ever need.  All galvanized construction to last through the elements and nature. The chains in this round bale feeder keep the bale of hay suspended off of the ground.  Cattle eat from the bottom of the bale up which eliminates the grabbing and pulling of the hay from the top and scattering along the outside of the hay feeder. 

 

  • Height: 62” Tall
  • Width: 90" Wide
  • Bars and End constructed from 16 gauge 1.25” square tubing
  • 20 ga sheet metal skirt
  • Holds hay off ground with chain "basket" suspension
  • Eliminates waste compared to traditional round bale feeders
  • Can be used with horned cattle

 

The pictures of these feeders were made in our owners feedlot.  After the lease cattle are returned and are retired to become "cows", there would be approximately 50 head in a pasture on 3 of these feeders. He would feed a round bale every other day in these feeders and you can tell from the ground around the feeders, there wasn't any waste.
